I’ve been using Froala for a while now, the updates have been smooth. I haven’t run into anything too strange after upgrading, which is basically the dream with this kind of tool, right?

Maintenance seems solid too. A few bugs I noticed earlier were fixed in later releases, and the editor doesn’t feel like it’s been forgotten about, which I appreciate because I’ve definitely used tools that felt abandoned after a while.

The docs could probably explain a few smaller details a bit better, but overall I’ve been happy with it. It saves me time, works well enough for our site, and doesn’t create extra headaches, which is really all I’m asking for most days.

We ended up going with Froala mainly because the pricing actually made sense for our small team. The license was straightforward, who wants to pay for a bunch of features they’re never going to use? Setup was smooth enough too. It’s not the cheapest option out there, but for what you get, it feels fair.

We used Froala for a small internal project, getting it set up was smooth. The docs were clear enough, so it didn’t take us long to get the editor up and running. We did have to adjust a few settings to fit our setup, but nothing that felt like a big headache. Overall, it was a good experience.

I’ve been using Froala for a bit now and the speed is great. Pages load fast and the editor doesn’t really lag, even when I’m adding images or bigger chunks of text. It just feels smooth and easy to use, which is nice when you don’t want to sit there waiting around. Not much to complain about tbh, it’s saved me time compared to a few other editors I’ve tried.

I found the editor really easy to figure out, and it literally doesn’t get in my way while I’m working. The toolbar is clear, pasting things works without any hassle, and I barely needed any time to get comfortable with it.

It’s been reliable for us so far. We use it every day and it really doesn’t crash or cause any issues, which is all we need.

The support team did eventually get back to me, and they were polite when they replied, which I appreciated. That said, I had to wait longer than I expected between messages, so the whole thing felt a little drawn out. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, just not especially quick either.

I started off thinking the docs were helpful, honestly. A few pages answered my questions right away and I was like, okay, this works. But then I hit some sections that felt outdated or kind of all over the place, and suddenly I was just annoyed. Not terrible, but definitely messy in spots.

So far, the toolbar options I use are all there, and the plugins I’ve tried seem to work fine. I haven’t dug into every single feature yet, so I can’t say for sure it covers absolutely everything, but up to now I haven’t really found myself missing anything.

I changed things around the way I needed without much hassle. Based on this one tweak, I’d say it’s easy to adjust stuff to fit what you want.

I’ve been using Froala in our Vue app, plus on one older page that still runs plain jQuery, and it fit in about as easily as I hoped. I already had a feeling it would play nicely with our setup, so I’ll admit I was mostly looking for reasons to confirm that, and it pretty much did.

On the browser side, it’s been solid for us too. I tried it in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari, including on an iPad, and for the features we actually use, everything behaved consistently. No strange layout issues or “works here but not there” surprises so far.

The docs could be clearer in a few spots, but compatibility-wise it saved me a bunch of time. Since I was already leaning toward it, the smooth setup across our stack made the decision feel even more obvious. 5 stars from me.
